Sawyer Strong

I met Sawyer and her family through her aunt. Sawyer was having headaches that just wouldn't go away. She was diagnosed with Medulloblastoma (cancer of the brain). While the surgery to remove the tumor was successful, she does have to undergo chemo and will be having a bone marrow transplant.

Before she was to start treatments, I drove to Atlanta to meet the family to capture Sawyer with her family. That Saturday was definitely a God thing! The weather called for rain and wind but the entire session, there was no rain with mild temperatures. Sawyer was having a good day and was so full of personality. When I left, the hospital, the rain moved in and I stopped in my tracks to thank God for giving us that wonderful morning.

Sawyer is the bravest little girl I have ever met. With all that is ahead of her, she had a smile on her face and loved on her sisters. Even as she has started treatments, her mom Summer posts pictures of her playing in the hospital, which warm my heart. Continue to pray with me and many others for this brave little girl, her mama and daddy, and her precious older sisters. #SawyerStrong
